Data Architect


The LTG Group is constantly growing and is in pursuit of higher data management maturity. We are now looking for a Data Architect who would join Data, Analytics and Programming unit within LTG Digital, our IT center.

Job Description

  • Implement best practices for design, architecture and implementation of high-performance, scalable and optimized data solutions
  • Understand current-state data schemas and data models then contribute to define future-state data schema, model and flow
  • Define data normalization and schema integration as required by the project
  • Develop and document the logical/physical data models
  • Document meta-data, data lineage and data dictionaries across the data stores
  • Develop and document data flow diagrams, schema and data mapping/cross-walks across the data stores
  • Develop authoritative data sources for all create, read, update and delete functions across applications
  • Develop data quality and data validation specifications & standards
  • Interact/collaborate with members of the business/IT community to understand future business requirements and strategies


  • 4+ years of experience in IT
  • 2+ years in data architecture, data modelling, SQL programming and related areas
  • Experience in designing and implementation of data architectures on an enterprise and/or solution level
  • Hands on experience with schema design and definition in a database environment
  • Proficiency in Database SQL query development and data analysis
  • Understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts
  • Project experience in a cloud-based environment
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Reporting platforms preferred but not required
  • Experience in working with Data Stewards, Data Managers, Data Owners
  • Experience in creating Business Process Models and data flow diagrams
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Critical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Very good listening and interpretation skills
  • Self-starter with a consultant mindset – identify, communicate, and act on issues and initiatives
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Understanding of common data architecture frameworks. Knowledge of data management principles (DMBOK). Knowledge of TOGAF or alternate frameworks is a plus
  • Good understanding of concepts related to data science, data warehouse, data lake and data analytics
  • Knowledge of GDPR is a plus
