Main responsibilities:

  • Accountable for System Engineering team production
  • Responsible for development and implementation of SEA department policies inside System Engineering team
  • Managing of System Engineering team resources, budget planning
  • Coordinates System Engineering Processes with all entities involved, internal and external
  • Ensures the implementation of System Engineering Processes:
    • Requirements Management
    • Configuration and Change Management
    • System Integration Management
    • Verification and Validation management
    • Interfaces (internal and External) Management
  • Ensure timely delivery of System Engineering reports
  • Provides adequate support to CTO technical departments
  • Contributes to the preparation of the Dynamic test sessions in collaboration with CTO technical departments
  • Management of the System Engineering team:
    • Create a motivating work environment and an open communication culture
    • Define clear team goals, objectives and deadlines
    • Monitor team performance
    • To provide support to team members in solving the assigned tasks
    • Consider feedback from team members, resolve problems or conflicts
  • In accordance with the employer's request and within the scope of the work responsibilities, to participate in the preparation of technical specifications and participate at the public procurement committees
  • To be involved as technical expert in the processes of design and deployment of relevant railways systems such as Energy, Command and Control System, Infrastructure, etc., with full involvement on project processes with the different expert Engineers and relevant third parties

What do we expect?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree or experience
  • Extensive experience in definition and implementation of System Engineering processes for railway systems and projects
  • Knowledge and experience in System delivery according CSM and Interoperability EU directives / regulations
  • Significant Experience in Project management
  • Ability to lead, plan and deliver in interface with numerous stakeholders
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Desirable C1 level certificate
  • EU or NATO country citizenship proof until the contract signed date
  • Soft skills - leadership, independence, adaptability, proactivity, strong goal-oriented culture, very good communication, teamwork, critical thinking, open-minded personality
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite, experience in System Engineering management software tools is a plus
  • Able to benchmark and apply best engineering practices of large infrastructure projects

Monthly salary: €3,810.00 - €5,710.00 (before taxes). The specific salary offered depends on work experience and competencies.
