As the Group controller, you will establish strong financial regulations and compliance function across the LTG Group. You will be the one who sets direction and quality expectations related to external reporting such as consolidated financial annual and semi-annual Management reports, ESG compliance and compliance with external regulatory institutions (RRT) as well as meeting shareholders’ requirements across the Group.
Together with a team, you will conduct compliance review procedures, as well as give consultations and recommendations to subsidiary companies by sharing insights and calling for corrective actions with subsidiary’s CFO‘s. You will lead implementations towards operational excellence, improving accuracy, and developing the most efficient tools and processes, whilst maintaining effective control environment. You will be in a highly competent position within LTG Group finance function, who is also providing insights to state institutions for law improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Establish and develop strong regulatory and financial compliance functions on Group level
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing controlling team of experts
  • Develop and own regulatory and financial compliance methodologies and processes across the Group
  • Oversee the preparation, consolidation and review of regulatory and financial management reporting across the Group, provide insights and recommendations, share insights and call for corrective actions
  • Develop financial models to support management judgement on valuations on Group level
  • Build regulatory and financial compliance expertise across the Group, organize training to subsidiaries and conduct reviews on compliance matters
  • Participate in yearly RRT audit, supervise internal teams and represent the company on Group level
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the regulatory and financial compliance function
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment, compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Coordinate and oversee various other financial matters related to the Group regulatory and financial compliance, such as ad hoc investments check, etc.

 

Skills

 

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Audits, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification is highly desirable
  • Proven and deep experience in financial reporting and auditing, preferably within Big4 companies
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS
  • Proficiency in conducting audits
  • Negotiation skills
  • Strategic and global view
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Leadership and team management capabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in Lithuanian and English language, both verbal and written
