Head of planning and management accounting
We are looking for a key member of the senior management team reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, who will lead the financial planning and management accounting of the Group. She/ he will be responsible for the holding and the Group consolidated financial planning, management accounting, analysis, and forecasting to support strategy development and implementation. This function involves providing data-driven insights, developing financial models, and working closely with the top management to drive strategy implementation, business growth and efficiency.
Job Objective
- To lead and manage the planning and management accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and implement financial planning processes
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management
- Management Accounting
- Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
- Monitor and control costs, identifying areas for improvement
- Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans
- Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives
- Evaluate financial implications of business decisions
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the planning and management accounting team
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Identify and mitigate financial risks
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
- Achievement of budget targets
- Cost control and efficiency improvements

Qualifications
- Advanced degree in finance, accounting, auditing, economics or a related field
- Proven experience in a senior financial role, preferably within a holding company or similar environment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, at least 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving and change management abilities
- Stakeholder management skills
- Impeccable reputation
- Very good Lithuanian and English language skills (written and spoken)
