Main responsibilities:

  • Ultimately responsible for the definition, maintenance, and implementation of the Verification and Validation Management process in the Rail Baltica project
  • Contribute to the definition of the strategy to deploy and implement system engineering process in the Rail Baltica project from Verifications and Validation perspective.
  • Lead the Verification and Validation Management team production
  • Coordinate the Verification and Validation Management process with all entities involved (internal and external)
  • Review and approve contractor’s V&V documentation and test evidence.
  • Oversee verification of design, integration, and testing activities
  • Ensure compliance with EN 50126, 50128, 50129 and EU interoperability requirements
  • Manage the team of Verification and Validation experts:
    • Create a motivating work environment and an open communication culture
    • Define clear team goals and KPIs, objectives and deadlines
    • Monitor team performance, evaluate performance and assess development needs
    • To provide support to team members in solving the assigned tasks
    • Consider feedback from team members, resolve problems or conflicts
    • Interoperability matter at meetings with external stakeholders

What do we expect?

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Systems, Railway Engineering
  • Extensive experience in Verification and Validation or System Assurance Management for complex projects or organizations, preferably but not necessarily in the railway sector
  • Proven experience with ETSC/ERTMS and signaling systems
  • Strong knowledge of EN 50126/8/9 and railway safety certification processes
  • Experience working on independent assurance side
  • Ability to benchmark and apply best practices of large infrastructure projects
  • Outstanding organizational abilities, proactive and energetic individual who has technical and analytical mind and can see both the large picture and would not hesitate to dig in for details
  • Well-developed communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with both, the business partners and internal technical team members, willingness to work in a team environment
  • Resilient to coping with conflicting demands, able to prioritize duties and work under pressure
  • High ethical standards, honesty, and impeccable reputation
  • Striving for continuous improvement and perfectionism in every detail
  • EU or NATO country citizenship proof until the contract signed date
  • Good command of technical English

Monthly salary: €3,810.00 - €5,710.00 (before taxes). The specific salary offered depends on work experience and competencies.

AB „LTG Infra“ is a part of the "Lietuvos geležinkeliai" Group, whose main activities are the management, use and disposal of railway infrastructure under the right of entrustment and the performance of the functions of a public railway infrastructure manager.
